Wedding Pros You Should Be Following on Instagram

Wedding Pros to Follow on Instagram

When it comes to creative work in the wedding industry, there’s no better place to find inspiration than Instagram. That’s why we’re highlighting some inspiring wedding pros you should be following on Instagram.

(We’ve even included some bonus inspiration from other industries as well.)

Because social media is self-curated, there are times you can get into a creative rut, so let’s talk about how to infuse some fresh ideas into your feed!

WEDDING PROS TO FOLLOW ON INSTAGRAM

We’ve gathered up a few interesting wedding pros to help infuse your social media with even more wedding inspiration. From world-famous royal wedding photographers to local wedding planners with a fun social style, we’ve got a little bit of everything for you to sample.

1. Benjamin Wheeler | Fine Art Wedding Photographer

If you didn’t know his work before this year, you definitely do now. He’s the photographer who famously captured Princess Beatrice’s summer wedding. While we love those images, his Instagram is full of creative, fine art wedding photos that provide all kinds of stylistic inspiration from nuptials around the world.

2. Grace Gourmet Platter Co | Catering

Charcuterie is just about the hottest trend in wedding catering. Let’s be honest — it’s about the hottest trend in eating in general. But you may not have known that this trend was made popular in Australia first.

Aussies have really taken a liking and lead the trend in beautiful, creative and delicious charcuterie spreads. Owner Larissa has the most mouth-watering Instagram account and you can thank us later for the recommend.

3. Precious | Wedding + Event Planner

Located in South Africa, Precious the Planner, as she’s known on Instagram, specializes in luxury weddings that are as charming as they are stunning. In addition to having a beautiful Instagram feed, she’s a solid social follow because she’s a creative business owner who is always trying something new.

Speaking of trying new things — Blooms by Precious is her second social account and showcases her floral designs including a luxe-sized bouquet of baby’s breath in monochromatic tones.

4. Nectar and Bloom | Floral Artist

Owner Jen Lagedrost Cavender describes her work as poetically-spirited fine art floristry. That’s pretty accurate. Her Instagram feed has the perfect blend of editorial-style content, practical how-to’s for the wedding pro, and poetic inspiration.

5. Wedded Wonderland | Wedding Media Brand

We head across the world to the land down under again for this recommendation. Not only does Wedded Wonderland give you a fun mix of real wedding inspiration, trends, and more from across the globe, they are passionate advocates for the wedding industry. In this season where the wedding industry has been impacted greatly, it’s great to have someone who is sharing helpful content for wedding pros wanting to grow their business, but also sharing their passion and encouragement!

6. Milla Nova | Wedding Attire

Milla Nova specializes in some down-right stunning wedding attire from gowns to bridesmaid dresses. Their feminine aesthetic coupled with their modern eye for design brings inspiration even for color palettes and even conceptual event design.

And we think these bridesmaid outfits from their recent line release are just about the sweetest things we’ve seen!

7. Passion Flower Sue

It’s hard not to be inspired by Sue McLeary’s Instagram. She is a self-appointed corsage ambassador with a penchant for wearable florals and just when you think you’ve seen it all — you haven’t. If nothing else, this account will make you smile!

8. Adventure Instead | Wedding Elopement Photographers

This quirky crew photographs some of the most jaw-dropping wedding scenes ever! From winter wonderlands in the wilds of Iceland to secluded beaches of some far-flung islands and Colorado mountains covered in wildflowers, there’s no shortage of wonder to be seen!

All that is enough for them to be a good follow on Instagram, but they also do a great job of advocating for and educating people about elopements. They also have a sense of humor and bring you in on the journey.

9. Roots Floral Design | Floral Designer + Educator

Owner, Kaytee specializes in organic and adventurous design with a touch of romantic whimsy when it comes to wedding florals.

Her designs are simultaneously comforting and a little daring. But what we love most about her account is how passionate she is about educating people on the process and talking about the designs.

10. West and Rose | Event Rentals

This account comes straight from SOCAL (Southern California) and has all the chill vibes you’re looking for. When it comes to the trend for geometric-style backdrops, West and Rose is killing it with their custom backdrops and rentals.

Follow along to see what this creative crew is up to next because you’ll be seeing this type of design a lot in weddings for the foreseeable future.

11. Wildly Collective | Wedding + Event Planner

Wildly Collective is all about meaningful design, planning, and styling for adventurous weddings and elopements. Their aesthetic is often dreamy, at times a little moody, and has that elevated element that you get with an editorial design.

Their content isn’t only about the beautiful visuals, but also the mental intentionality of wedding planning. It’s a unique blend and something that can spice up your feed with inspiration!

12. Rodarte | Fashion

Okay, Rodarte isn’t solely a wedding pro, but their newest release is spot on with the trending aesthetic for weddings in this next year or two. It’s a fresh infusion of romance with a unique spin called cottage core. It’s wildly popular with Millennials and Gen Z’ers — which make up the bulk of the wedding industry customers.

This may not be an account you want to follow forever, but be sure to give it a look to understand the coming trends. Wearable florals, cottage core or prairie chic dresses, and statement gloves. They may be a little on the fringe right now, but they will begin inspiring a lot of brides.

It’s a good rule of thumb to follow fashion trendsetters in general because that will bleed over in the wedding industry.

13. Brides of Austin

Brides of Austin’s Instagram account is chock-full of amazing local vendors to pull inspiration from. And Austin itself is full of diverse and daring wedding pros that love to think outside the box, so it’s sure to keep your feed full of dreamy wedding details.

Plus, use it as inspiration for ideas to level-up your own social media game. From insider tips to sneak peeks and more, you’ll never run out of ideas again!

(And don’t forget, we also have Brides of Houston, Brides of North Texas, and Brides of Oklahoma for even more local inspo!)

14. The Copper Quail | Wedding Design + Event Rentals

This mother-daughter wedding planning team has created an Instagram feed full of romantic details any wedding pro would love! They offer design services as well as creatively curated event rentals, which makes for an aesthetically pleasing Instagram account. What’s unique about their approach is that they release styled photos in color palette waves, so if you lovely a highly-curated inspiration source, you’re going to want to follow these guys!

On top of that, we love the mother-daughter vibe and their blend of vintage and modern designs.

15. ISA Bridal | Couture Wedding Fashion

We’ve loaded this list with lots of practical inspiration, but sometimes you need a little couture in your life. That’s why ISA Bridal is a solid social follow. Based out of China, with an international editorial flair, this account features elaborate wedding gowns that are straight out of a fairy tale — or just off the runway.

16. Erin Rhyne | Wedding Accessories

Every wedding pro is a romantic at heart — and these wedding accessories from Erin Rhyne are wildly romantic. Based in Houston, Erin creates hand-sculpted flowers that go on stunning headpieces.

Besides being beautiful, these accessories are on point when it comes to the hottest trends in weddings for the next few years. Romantic details, florals, and Edwardian-inspired femininity is going to be everywhere. This account definitely has their finger on the pulse of that trend.

17. Wed Society | Community for Wedding Pros

We’ve saved the best for last! Okay, we’re a little biased — but it’s so important to make sure you’re part of wedding professional communities. Wed Society launched just after the pandemic hit to ensure that there was a supportive community for wedding pros around the country that focused on inspiration, but also education and general information.

Our team works tirelessly to provide helpful resources and keep wedding pros in the know. In a season where our industry has been so greatly impacted, it’s more important than ever to stay connected.
