Now leading Wed Society® | Montana, mother-daughter duo Tammy and Katie Mahoney are bringing a shared passion for connection, community, and creativity to the Big Sky state.
For Tammy, the journey to Wed Society began with a desire to take her years of corporate leadership experience and apply it in a more personal, community-focused way. With a background rooted in strategy and supporting teams through growth and change, she brings a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to this new chapter. “I really value relationships and building something meaningful,” she shares.
Her introduction to Wed Society came through Katie, making this venture even more special. After watching her daughter’s experience with the brand firsthand, Tammy quickly connected with its mission and heart. “I wanted to be more connected to the work I’m doing and the community around me, which is what led me here,” she says.
For Katie, the wedding industry has been a natural fit from the start. She began her career as a wedding planner for a Wed Society Oklahoma member, where she quickly fell in love with the industry and the connections it fosters. That passion grew during her time as an intern with Wed Society North Texas, where she discovered a deeper connection to the brand and its purpose.
“We love what Wed Society stands for, and we knew that Montana was a community that would see the value in us as we see in them,” Katie shares. Together, she and Tammy saw an opportunity to bring something meaningful to a place that has long held a special place in their hearts.
Looking ahead, the duo is most excited about building and supporting Montana’s wedding community. From connecting with local vendors to helping businesses grow and thrive, their focus is rooted in relationships and shared success. “I’m looking forward to building our community, supporting market needs, and celebrating one another,” Katie says.
