Born and raised in Omaha, Courtney has deep roots in the community she now serves as the owner of Wed Society® Nebraska. Growing up in the city’s western suburbs while also spending time in the historic Little Italy area, she developed a strong appreciation for the character and connection that define the region.
Today, Courtney lives in Bennington with her husband, Darren, and their three daughters. Much of her time outside of work is devoted to supporting her girls’ activities and gathering with family and friends. This is something that reflects her heart for community, this foundation of connection is central to everything she does.
For the past 11 years, Courtney built her career in medical recruiting and account management, focusing on authentic relationships and thoughtful guidance. She worked closely with clients and medical professionals across the country, helping individuals find opportunities that aligned with both their professional goals and personal aspirations. That experience sharpened her ability to listen, understand needs, and foster meaningful partnerships, all skills that now translate seamlessly into her role with Wed Society.
When she first discovered the brand, it immediately stood out. “It truly felt like I had found something incredible—the unicorn I didn’t even realize I was searching for,” Courtney shares. The opportunity to stay deeply connected to her local community while supporting businesses and building relationships felt like a natural next step. After meeting the HQ team and experiencing the heart behind the brand, she knew she had found where she belonged. “I knew Wed Society was special and I wanted to be a part of this family.”
Looking ahead, Courtney is most excited about cultivating lasting connections throughout Nebraska’s wedding community. “I am most looking forward to the connections, specifically, the opportunity to cultivate lasting relationships within our community,” she says. Supporting local businesses, strengthening professional networks, and contributing to something that creates meaningful impact are what drive her most.
